I once had a 3sp + O/D from a '57/'58 Mopar, but sold it a few years
ago.
I recall it having a much longer input shaft, with possibly a different
tooth pattern, than what I noticed on my '55/'56 transmissions. Also,
the newer trans had a tail support that the older ones did not.
I cannot speak of the internals, though.
