I saw that car on eBay a while back. To me it looked like one Mercedes rear ended another in the middle of the JC Whitney chrome accessories warehouse, where someone had also left an Imperial front clip no one knew about.... they wanted some rediculous price for it, too, I can't remember if it was $35K or more like $75K. They did a Chevy van like this too, stretched out and with a matching trailer with a hot tub in it, and just as many chrome add-on bits and pieces as this car. More, in fact, because it had big truck marker lights and stuff all over it - All I can say is niether one is me. And I came close to welding '61 Caddy fins onto an '84 Buick Skylark beater, just for fun and to refresh my welding skills, a while back. (In other words, I don't have any place to criticize anyone else's taste! lol ) Bill K. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rich" <RJZ123@xxxxxxxxx> To: <L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, March 15, 2005 7:42 PM Subject: [FWDLK] '62 Imperial R.V. > I just saw a bit on the Travel Channel about a custom built > stretched-out R.V. made out of a 62 Imperial front end and 2 Mercedes > station-wagons.
