I have a 58 Coronet with a stuck short block 325 that I don't really care about, but I do need the Powerflite tranny, and have a question. On later (727/904) transmissions, to remove the tranny from the engine, I have removed the bolts that hold the plate to the torque converter. Is that the same on this engine/transmission combination? Will the stuck engine prevent the plate from turning so I can get to the bolts? Appreciate any information. Thanks.
