Couple of notes: these radio-conversion shops don't convert AM car radios to FM, they *add* FM capability. You'll still have AM. Also they will put in a resistor for those who request it (at no charge) that will let the radio take a few seconds to "warm up" just like a tube set. The FM they add will be stereo, and there is a two-cone speaker you can install in your current speaker grille that will give you some stereo separation without having to bolt on those incorrect extra speakers.
