Hello Dave & Nathan, Yep...The bolt pattern on a 331/345/392 Hemi is a direct match for a small-block (273/318/340/360 CID) A/LA A-727 Torqqueflite. You will need a spacer (adaptor) to go between the trans and the engine. You will also need a flex-plate that will bolt up to a 8-bolt 331/345/392 Hemi crankshaft and your torque converter. I have a this setup in my '58 Plymouth and it's sweet. I used a push-button two-cable (shift & park) 727 trans so I would not have to cut into my hump. A custom console & shift lever rounds out the package. Hope this helps...Tom (1958 Plymouth 2-DR Savoy). ------------------------------------------------------------------ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave Casey" <dcasey@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2003 4:38 PM Subject: Re: [FWDLK] New Acquisition > Well, and I'm no expert, so wait for someone to back me up on this, but the > bolt pattern for a 392 bellhousing is the same as any other A/LA engine > right?
