[FWDLK] Radiator Markings

Group,

I recently received a magazine that shows under the hood of my car car
when new.   The radiator shows markings on the top of it in chalk.
What where these?   I have a clue that they may have been markings for
the assembly of the car, like inspection stamps.    I was thinking it
would look cool to put them on the radiator for show season.  Any ideas?
