Are you guys trying to make me feel bad? I just sold a 55 NY hardtop to man on the east coast. I requested full payment up front with shipment whenever he could arrange after that. Provided pictures of everything he asked about and truthfully answered every question he had. been waiting for the shipper for two weeks after final payment now and anxious to get some garage space back. Mailed title and owners manual to him about a week after last check arrived just in case. Got to admit to some worry that he will not be happy with something when he gets the car but have described fairly and honestly and priced reasonably so should be ok. Does feel a little strange to sell to someone you will probably never meet. Did sell two 55 Wagons a few years ago to stranger in Pa and hauled them out to him. He and family are now great friends and we stay with them when we go to Carlisle and Hershey. Got to admit to having concerns on both sides of the transaction. the car I just sold was bought, without driving it, from a dealership in Colorado and part of the deal was they would drive half of the 500 mile trip home for us with us meeting and paying when we got it. Never did drive until we had paid and never regretted the deal. Had car 10 years so time to move on I guess. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott H" <kneedrager@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, March 12, 2002 2:12 PM Subject: Re: [FWDLK] Long-distance car buying: > Dave, > I once sold a BSA motorcycle to a guy in Denmark.
