Although we don't have AAA,  we do have Allstate's (family) Motor Club that
covers soup to nuts - towing, motel & meals (if out of town) and all the other
usual motor club features for less than $90 a year for all our cars (9).
Absolutely indespensible when driving the old cars!!

They also insure my house, cars, boat and business equipment  (for the last 30
years) at rates much less than anyone else. So there are alternatives which
also work!
