It wouldn't surprise me if it got put in different
locations on some cars, especially non-Imperials where
the option would have been less common. And I would
guess the sticker probably wound up in the passenger
side rear side window on wagons. AYMK this decal is
textured somewhat like an actual emblem, and probably
would not hold up if on a window that went up & down.
I'd be inclined to judge originality by the correct
sticker for that year rather than its location, even
though most *seem to have been* in the lower RH corner
during the FL years.

Thanks for that info. I had based my belief that Cool
Aire appeared later on a '63 Belvedere I once saw with
an underdash unit still marked "Airtemp", and
accompanied by the correct Airtemp sticker for the
year. ('63 B-bodies were very much available with
indash units, identifyable from the inside of the car
by their different defroster vents, additional vents
along the lower dash, and red-&-aqua "Hot/Cold"
markings on the fan blower switch.)
I never mind finding out I'm wrong about something
like this!
