The A, B, C, E... body designations began around '64. "A" bodies are
vehicles derived from the original Valiant body ("small" Darts, Valiants,
Barracudas ('64-'69), etc. "B" bodies are your mid-size vehicles (Coronets,
Belvedere's, Chargers, Road Runners, etc...) "C" bodies are full size
vehicles ('65 and up Fury's, all Chryslers, Monacos, etc...) "E" bodies are
'70-'74 Barracudas (and 'Cudas) and Challengers. Starting in the mid-'70's
there were other designations as well for the new Aspens/Road Runners,
Magnums, and Miradas, etc.. ,but you're probably not interested in those.
