I just had to drop a note to this one. I really cant see chrysler making up a special stensil for the 392 Commando. Especially when the correct name is Fire Power. to my knowledge, the commando engine was only in the big block series. for instance the 57 and 58 fury was call the V800, the 350 was the commando. in 59 the 361 was called the commando and on up the years to the 440. In my mind I find it hard to believe that they called it this. But!!!!! I also found it hard to believe in the black 58 fury convert, till I was corrected by Paul Rice in Del Mar, Calf. and one more fellow in Ohio who got one, Also the black Fury convert that Rocky Nelson got ( confirmed and Provin by Paul Rice). I also found it hard to believe that one of the pety boys got a 392 in a 58 Ply along with one other that I have informed thru person experience. In conclusion, Nothing surprised me about the 50s mopars especially in the late fifties when they needed the sales. mel -----Original Message----- From: Automatic digest processor <LISTSERV@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: Recipients of L-FORWARDLOOK digests <L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Monday, February 07, 2000 11:15 PM Subject: L-FORWARDLOOK Digest - 6 Feb 2000 to 7 Feb 2000 (#2000-41) |
