John, I am far from an expert, but I have parted out at least eight 59 Plymouths, and the great majority have all been lugbolts all around, with LH threads on one side and RH threads on the other. I was told (and have read) that it was a safety thing; the Chrysler engineers thought being that various torques and twists as you drove would loosen RH threads. The idea was abandoned in the 60s. I have found one drum on a 59 that was lugBOLTS, but I decided that was some previous owner's switcheroo for whatever reason. What does mopar Mel have to say on this? -----Original Message----- From: John Paxos <A57FURY@xxxxxxx> To: L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sunday, August 30, 1998 1:27 PM Subject: Re: [FWDLK] Just curious..... >I have a '57 Fury and they are the same as yours.
