I do not know the color Suede! The Plymouth was a cheap car. The car had only grey "underpaint" when you open the trunk. This was the same under the hood. If you see a red Plymouth (a Christine-replica for example) the hood shall be grey on the "back". There shall only be "leftovers" of the red paint over the grey underpaint. If it had been a Chrysler the hood and the trunk was painted on both sides. The floor (under the carpets) had a brown-red underpaint.
