1 hardened seats in early mopars is not the same as seats hardened for
unleaded us as the gentleman with the Wagon and Duster already explained
only 73 and later were equiped for unleaded use.
2 Often because on the limited use seen by a collector car this would
never be a problem.
3 Should one be rebuilding an engine currently then it would just make
good sense to install the alloy exhaust seats and prevent the problem
from ever occurring.
4 Otherwise drive and enjoy. If you do need to do a valve job that is
the time to install the alloy seats (exhaust only) otherwise quit
worrying about it.
