You could use a '57-'58 Plymouth Torqueflite faceplate and buttons and get the same results. The pawl switch under the box might look a little hokey, but IMO less so than the aftermarket shifters I've seen. "Pushbutton delete plate" doesn't apply to '57-'58 Plymouths. All the stick versions I've seen had no button box pod at all.
