[FWDLK] continued

Hi all. So I was pulled out of the ditch and on I went. Through New
York, through Connecticut, almost through Massachusetts when a tire blew
on the '30. It was late at nite. I separated the cars and drove into
town and tried to sleep parked at a closed gas-station. Come morn I
searched for a junk-yard. Somehow I found one, asked the guy if he had a
demountable-rim and tire for a 19" wood-spoke wheel. He did. Someone "up
there" felt very sorry for me !! I bolted my little miracle on and
continued. With about 1 hour to go a cop pulled me over. He asked where
I'm comming from and looked shocked when I told him N.Y. He let me go.
He felt sorry for me too !! With just a few miles to go the rear-frame
broke. I pulled in my folks drive with the rear fenders grinding on the
wheels, but I MADE IT !!!!! Took exactly 24 hours.
