Re: IML: driving a big car in Europe

In response to Dardal: It is a "hardtop" and indeed I have dual exhaust on the car.

Thanks for the info, learning more every day now.

Quoting Martijn Adam <m.adam@xxxxxxxxxx>:
They even applaused
when my wife hit the pedal to get up the hill. That's matbe because the
sound off the motor is special, I've been told the exhaustpipes are Daytona
racepipes???? Whatever, the sound is brilliant.

So, yoy probably have dual exhaust on your car. Good choice.

You said before that your car was a 4 door sedan. Is that true? Sedan in the
US refers to the car with a complete B-pillar (the post between front and rear
doors). If you indeed have the sedan, you have a very rare car. You may
however have the "hardtop", which means that the B-pillar is not continuous all
the way to the roof, but "stops" on the waist-line.

D^2, 1 68 Sedan, and one LeBaron (hard top).

PS, I am sure you will find the parts in the list. Also, keep your eye on ebay.
There is a fellow with a 67 parts car, I will get something from him soon, I
will ask him if he is willing to sell you his fender extensions.
