A
57 Chrysler 300 is an extremely desirable car; they came either as a 2 door
hardtop or a convertible. No sedans, no 4 door hardtops, no wagons.
However, it is not an Imperial.
What is
the difference between a 57 Chrysler and a 57 Imperial you ask? The
57 Imperial used the same basic mechanicals like block and transmission, as
the 57 Chrysler, but the body and probably the frame have about as much in
common between Chrysler and Imperial as between Chrysler and Cadillac.
There are thousands of picture books that show you 57 Imperials and 57
Chryslers. There is absolutely no way to confuse them, once you have seen
a picture.
