 One point not mentioned so far is that when you have your 64 and later window motors out or you have the new ones in hand, you would do well to put a screwdriver under the lip of the plastic gear that is in the motor.  It is manually pressed onto the driveshaft without anything securing it.

Most gears that I have seen are white plastic.  I do this so that I can scoop out the petrified old grease that's under there in the old ones in the track that the gear disc runs in when under pressure.  I put in new grease, and they normally operate about twice as well as before.  Don't know about the new ones, but can't hurt to look.

The window tracks (as mentioned in my other post) are also a giant source of drag and resistance to your motor.  Clean them and your stock will go up.
