Re: IML: retrofitting Auto-Pilot into a '66 Imperial

Many AutoPilot pieces, though not all, interchange
from model to model, year to year. However, Imperials
have unique brackets and throttle linkages, as well as
dash contol knobs. The AutoPilot motor,
speedometer/trans cables, and wiring harnesses are
similar to all years and all models that used the
Perfect Circle unit. Depending on year, there are
variations on the brake-actuated cut-off switch.

However, all the Imperial-only items should be
salvageable off the toasted '65 and will work in the
'66.
