Re: IML: 74 Coupe story

K C:

I went to the page but wasn't a member, so I missed the pics. We're many of
us waiting for a look at the '74, make no mistake! Is there any possibility
you post them somewhere else? I'm still envious.

Regarding my car:
The radiator shop called today. My rebuilt 'rador with the "special Ohio
core" has been re-assembled and they wanted to know what color to paint it.
I announced "GM Engine Black, Semi Gloss," due solely to you fine IML folks
and your free advice.

Now I've got to drop the gas tank and take it in to be cleaned out and
re-lined. I'm very much not looking forward to the chore of yanking the car
out of the garage to get under the back end, but it has to be done. I've
got the shop manual for the car, '58 Southampton 4 door with A/C. Any tips
from you pros out there on removing the tank with ease? I've done a lot of
minor engine and trim jobs over the years, but I've never touched a fuel
tank in my life. I don't think it's had a drop of fuel in it since 1977, so
I'm thinking I don't have to worry about flammables (right? eek!). I'm
going to bring it in and leave it when I pick up the radiator.
