IML: 90 Imperial ABS pump ----HELP ME!!!

Hey Gang

 I am loking for an ABS pump for my 1990 Imperial.  I have searched hi and 
low and no one can get it....they all have listings but no supply in the 
warehouse...AND here is the catch. I am finding that the 90 used two 
different styles and then changed all together to a new pump for 1991.  SO 
that means that I have to have a pump from a car that has my style pump.  
The lists call for a differnce in the build date of the car.....Any car 
built from Sept. 89 to march of 90 will take one pump and then from march of 
90 on will be a differnt one.  My car was built on Nov. 29, 1989.  AND if 
anyone can get the pump, it is upwards of 800.00!    So as you see  I have a 
big problem.  The car is much too nice to let go.  but I don't want to have 
to spend that kind of cash....HELP
  And what is still goofy, the pump will sometimes cycle and work just 
fine. seems like to me it is a charging problem. Because if I run the RPM's 
up really high ,,,,for example,,,,hit it to passing gear while driving the 
pump will kick in and work fine...hmmmmmm
