Re: IML: Special Handling '74 Coupe

From: Brad Hogg <roadhogg@xxxxxxx>

I have it on good authority that "Special Handling" simply means it was a
car that was ordered to spec by the customer. This was not just a car that
was on it's way to the dealer. This car was ordered by the customer with
the features they wanted.

I still have a '70 non-Imperial Mopar that my father "special ordered" with the options that he wanted. We had to wait quite some time for the car to be built and delivered. It has two fender tags and neither said "special handling." I don't know if only some cars customer ordered had this designation or if it started later than 1970, but mine doesn't have it. Wasn't the speculation that it was ordered for an exec with Chrysler since it's in Michigan?
