Dear All
Never mind  "dead" cars , my usually reliable 63 decided to not select just 
as we were going on a long trip with friends !!!!!!!! and we were late , 
well to cut a long story short with fears of a disconnected cable under the 
car , I sprayed the inside of the selecy buttons wth a releasing agent 
(megapower) and guess what like Tim we were on our way and this is a car 
that gets used alot so maybe it is a good idea to lubricate with a VERY 
light oil/agent sometimes ?.
