Dale, 17 sounds too good to be true. Have you checked the accuracy of your odometer? New, these cars would do 12-14 accodring to road tests. Chrysler was suggesting an average city-highway fuel economy of 11 mpg. However, these cars rode on bias ply tires that were under inflated at 24 psi. The best I have seen in either of mine is 14. I do agree though that 8 is too low for highway, even at higher than 70 speeds. 8 is not unreasonable for stop and go though. D^2, with two thirsty 68s.. Quoting MNTwin1@xxxxxxx: car!
