IML: Stumper Trivia of the day - Is this car an Imperial?

I got a photo from an ebay seller that claimed it was an Imperial.  The snapsot provided in the auction was really small and I don't know prewar stuff like I should, so I grabbed it.

Caution: this image is the slightly LARGER size and may cause dial-up folk to have to wait a bit, so don't open unless you're ready, but it's an interesting image (to me anyway).

I am now having second thoughts, and suspect that it is something else.  I think that the radiator cap is an aftermarket MotoMeter unit, but could be wrong.  Other notable features include the demountable rims and the way that the rear of the roof is seamed.  No steering wheel is visible, but the dashboard is.  The fenders may be the deciding item.

Can anyone ID this car as Imperial or something else?  Please list the identifying reasons that lead you to your conclusion in your response.

I'd rather hear now that it's not than from some irate random person that stumbles across it and writes into the website in a huff about it being a Pierce Arrow or something (yes, there are people that care deeply about typos and mis-ID'd images).

The car across the street is also interesting, as it appears to be a Sedan Landaulet, as described here:  http://www.imperialclub.com/registry/body.htm  Probably a pretty nice neighborhood if she was riding around in that Brogham, which was probably chauffeur-driven.

Whatever the car is, the woman is quite fetching in that hat, don't you think?
