Someone should check that out.  I don't recall that being different.  The
74-78 440 has the inlet and outlet on the right side of the engine.

.....and I think that the 74 engine has the water pump housing inlet on the
opposite side from the 68.  This will make for a bag-of-snakes trying to put
the 74 engine in the 68 car.  Of course you can always swap w/pump housings.
