Hey everyone, I've just had an alignment and new tires put on my 70 LeBaron and was told my steering gear box needed adjusted. I adjusted the top adjuster prior to taking it in for the alignment. The part that the shop says needs adjusted (they said that they would have done it; but, they didn't know enough about that gearbox to do it) is the input shaft (if you want to call it that...it is the shaft that goes into the gearbox from the steering wheel). It moves in and out as the wheel is turned. Not excessively; but, enough for me to want it adjusted. Anyone who has done this adjustment or knows anything about how I can do it please respond. The Tennesse event is comming quick and I don't want to have to chase the steering wheel for 500 miles one way. Just to let you all know, the rest of the steering system is good...no wear/play. Please help if you can. Thanks, chris '70 Imperial LeBaron 4dr _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself with the new version of MSN Messenger!
