The finest driving '57 Imperial ever came straight from the factory and was put on the road when the cars were new. There may be a few examples left, but an altered and modified car, with parts adapted from other makes and companies would not qualify as such in my book. Call it what you will, and it may drive very well, but a '57 Imperial it ain't.
