Imperials as an Investment

Greetings:
A 1931 Imperial Roadster model CG
has been bid to $300,000.00 at the rmauction in Phoenix. eBay item
2218233200. I figure, if I wait 'til my 1939
Custom Imperial C24 is seventy three yrs.
old like the CG I may recoup the dollar investment I have in the
restoration. Here's looking forward to year 2012 ! :)

The expense of restoration for me, is far out weighed by the
satisfaction of resurrecting the Imperial from death in a junk yard and
the pleasure it has provided me. With trips to San Diego to the south
and Portland to the north plus may tours in Calif. and nearing 30,000
miles on the odometer it has provided me with innumerable hours of
pleasure & a few
moments of grief, such as having the condenser take a dump and stranding
me in the traffic lane at the airport. All in all,
it has given me pleasure, I could not have
had by any other means. A labour of love.
Not an ego trip!

That's all Folks
