I have some pitted pot metal that I dont want to redo in this lifetime or my 
kids. So, I am thinking of recasting some pot metal parts in a metal that will 
stand the test of time. I saw the post about that some chromers would not plate 
SS, so is AL a metal that will work? Bronze?
