Mark,
I just looked at the OIC classifieds ( www.imperialclub.com) this morning and
noticed a '74 advertised and it is in Venice (not too far away). You may want to
look into it.

Subject: IML: Looking for a 74
Hey everyone- I am pretty new to the list and
looking forward to hopefully meeting people at the events. I am really
looking forward to the one in LA in April (Thousand Oaks). I actually
just was successful at winning the auction of what will hopefully be a good 81
Imperial, and I just got back from my 2nd trip back east in search for a
74. This one was a nice car, but just not for me. I had an 82 way
back in 85 to about 90. The one I bought is silver with red leather, and
my thought is to paint the car red. Anyone have any advice/feedback on
that??? I thought that car would look good that color.
My other question for anyone interested is
this. Does anyone know of a good 1974 or 5 for sale, and what is value
of this car today? I have seen them from around $1,000 up to say
$4,000, and I have been following them for about 2 years now. I
certainly don't know everything, that is just what I have seen for the past
couple years on the dozen or so cars that I have seen sold. SO I would
appreciate any help on that matter as well.
I would also like to own a
61 4-door hardtop with a flightsweep trunk, but I am taking my time on that
one as well. I live in Long Beach CA so if there are any locals on the
list I would love to
connect.
Thanks Mark
