Early Chrysler parts for sale -(but not early enough!)

Kerry,

yes it is 1929  unfortunately there seems to be so few people who have knowledge of these early cars and what interchanges between models, it is very much trial and error when looking for parts...and "experts" are quick to tell you that the part you want is not right!

I recently bought an instrument panel with most instruments in c.1931/2 with the floating power trademark on it, whilst the instruments look wrong from the front, when you look at the back you see they are the same instruments packaged slightly diferently...and if I can change some of the lettering I have most of the smaller instruments.

Likewise my car had stood in a field for someyears before being unsympathecially dismantled over 30 years ago...ths bottom couple of inches on the theromataically controlled radiator shutters had rotted away... which would have been difficult and expensive to repair or re make... I found some off a 72 or 75 which were identical...but no one can tell you that.

It is even harder doing it in England as so few cars came here when new

Regards

nigel
