Eric; When you say that you broke a switch do you mean an actual switch or a knob? If it is a knob then you may have a broken dial cord, if these radios used them. Dial cords can be a real pain to replace if you haven't dealt with one before. If it is a switch then it may be worth checking out some electronics suppliers for one of a similar style and function, as well as the second hand route. Then again it may be a broken wire as they are much easier to damage.
