the agent will pay you with a cashiers check for more than the price of the car and ask you to send him the difference. he will tell you to keep the rest to pay for the car. after you send him the difference, typically about two weeks, the bank will notify you that the check was no good and they will want all the money back. you will be on the hook for whatever amount you sent back to the agent. it is an old scam, do not fall for it.
