Mel, This question will drive you nuts. If your panels are at all there, at least just enough some one can make a pattern from don't worry. I think the answer is no. If you need 59 4-dr panels then get 59 4-dr door panels. You will kill yourself trying to get the answer your looking for and it may be wrong. Everything is different on these cars in years. They are quite unique. I hoped for many of these type of questions when working on my 56 2-dr. My door panels work completely gone also. I took a good 4 dr panel down and all they did was duplicate it and add length to fit the 2-dr. Not much help but there you go. The interior door panels on the 1959 LeBaron FDHT I am restoring are deteriorated to the point where they cannot be reused. A fellow IML'er stated that he had panels from a 1958 Crown FDHT. I asked the group if they thought the panels from a 58 Crown FDHT would fit my car. From the responses I gather that there is a good possibility that the front ones will but the rear ones may not. There was also the fact that different models have differently designed panels (e.g. with or without ashtrays). Another IML'er stated that he had panels from a 1959 LeBaron sedan. I asked Philippe (off line) if he thought these were interchangeable with mine. He raised some level of doubt but was not certain. I then passed the question on to the group. I am aware that the doors are not interchangeable but I was hoping (fingers crossed and all) that the panels would be. Thanks, in advance, for any help offered.
