59 sedna & hardtop doors

I want to clarify the information I have been requesting.
The interior door panels on the 1959 LeBaron FDHT I am restoring are
deteriorated to the point where they cannot be reused. A fellow IML'er
stated that he had panels from a 1958 Crown FDHT. I asked the group if they
thought the panels from a 58 Crown FDHT would fit my car. From the responses
I gather that there is a good possibility that the front ones will but the
rear ones may not. There was also the fact that different models have
differently designed panels (e.g. with or without ashtrays).
Another IML'er stated that he had panels from a 1959 LeBaron sedan. I asked
Philippe (off line) if he thought these were interchangeable with mine. He
raised some level of doubt but was not certain. I then passed the question
on to the group. I am aware that the doors are not interchangeable but I was
hoping (fingers crossed and all) that the panels would be.
Thanks, in advance, for any help offered.
Mel
