A speed wrench is a crank handle for sockets.  Looks like a brace as in
brace and bit hand drill if you know what that is.

Hold one hand on the knob at the top and crank the other to rotate the
socket at the end.  Really handy for spinning things down fast.  Can't get
much leverage though and air ratchets have pretty much replaced them
