82 imperial horn buttons sticking

Hi,

I have a spare steering wheel that I can check the buttons in. The wheel itself (blue) is pretty beat, with cracks in the plastic and the leather has seen better days (sorry, no crystal either). If anyone is interested I can remove/test them and sell them. Please email me privately. I do recall seeing a section in the FSM on diagnosing the continuous blowing. I remember chuckling to myself and thinking that "that would never happen". I stand corrected!

Mine on the '81 don't work at all, got another steering wheel and they don't work on it either.  I'd be curious what the closest match would be from other models with leather cover.

My horn buttons stick and horns blow continuosly. Are the buttons repairable or are new ones available? Please let me know. Mike Popp----popp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
