Regarding the braking problem with the 1990, go to the following website
page and then click on "complaints". Next, follow the instructions , typing
in the year, then the make, then the model; leave the "component" choice
blank, this will bring up ALL complaints by consumers who purchased your
particular year, make and model vehicle. Checking out the 1990 reveals
several complaints concerning the brakes. You can then click on the recall
tab and type in the same info to see what the NHTSA issued. Very informative
site!!
