1955 Imperial exhaust pods and misc...

Getting closer to retruning to PA and I'm looking forward to the Imperial
out on the road. The one thing I haven't yet solved is how to repair or
replace the rotted out bumper exhausts, short of a couple grand anyway.
If anyone has any help or leads I would be much appreciative.

Speaking of appreciative, the thread on how to test fuel sensor vs gas
gauge had great suggestions, thanks all!

Lastly, I stopped by Borders to check out the Car Encyclopaedia that was
mentioned. Don't bother, it's simply 500 pages of pictures with
someone's idea of what cars to ramble about. No specs, no organization,
no attempt to be comprehensive and no Imperials.

Post-lastly: not all appearances at Chrysler dealers with Imperials lead
to productive results. I took the Imp by Milford Chrysler by way of
getting its VIN# certified so I could register the car in Florida. AFter
agreeing, and admiring the car close-up, they spun me out for 3 months
before handing me some BS, result the Imperial still isn't and won't be
legitimately registered for all too long.

I've never heard such corny lyrics, such simpering sentimentality, such
repetitious, uninspired melody. Man, we've got a hit on our hands!
