The system would be just the same in operation as
the second unit added in our full size dodge van. The hot water flows at
full flow to the back whenever the heater is on and the only heat control for
the rear is of fan speed which will obviously make quite a
difference.

On a 1968 Imperial with rear air
conditioning, there are no separate controls for the rear air, other than a
switch which controls the blower speed of the rear unit. This switch is
located on the instrument panel in front of the driver. When the front
air is turned on, the rear air is also on, the ATC dial on the instrument
panel also controls the temperature of the rear air. The rear seat
passengers have no control over the rear unit, except to adjust the two vents
on the package shelf, which directs the flow of cool air.
