On a 1968 Imperial with rear air conditioning, there are no separate controls for the rear air, other than a switch which controls the blower speed of the rear unit. This switch is located on the instrument panel in front of the driver. When the front air is turned on, the rear air is also on, the ATC dial on the instrument panel also controls the temperature of the rear air. The rear seat passengers have no control over the rear unit, except to adjust the two vents on the package shelf, which directs the flow of cool air.
