Sorry to disagree with Dsquared, but Radial tires were standard equipment
on some luxury cars starting in 1968, but I don't believe this included
Imperials.
I know for a fact that Michelin Radials were standard on Lincoln (sorry, Jeff I.) "69" Mark IIIs, which were in
production from April of 68 (I have one). Radials were delivered on
many European cars from the mid 50s, perhaps earlier. My Peugeot 403 (sorry again, Jeff) also
came with Michelin radials, in 1958.
