IML-Webmonsters: 93 Chrysler Imperial

Ok everyone, it seems this fellow needs some help. He wrote to the Webmaster
group of the Imperial club so I am assuming that he is not on ANY of the lists.
Share your insights with the group but please also copy him on your replies.
Thanks!

Hopefully this is the right place to ask this question, if now can you please
forward to the proper email address.
I have a 1993 Chrysler Imperial with the 3.8L engine, I think this is stock
in all cars. Well, anyway, I am an ex-aircraft mechanic of over 20 years and
actually do have the factory manuals. I was leaving for the airport with my
wife to go on an extended business trip in the UK, when the car started and
immediately stalled. I do suspect that the MAP sensor has failed, same exact
problem on a Dodge Aries with the 2.5 engine and MAP sensor fixed the
problem.
I tried to look under the hood where I expected to find the sensor and it was
not where I expected to find it. I have had my wife kinda troubleshoot the
problem by telling her if you can find the sensor disconnect the electrical
connector and the car should start and Stay running like on the Aries. She
can't find it either and Chrysler did not I guess do a sufficient enough job
to tell her where its located.
This is where I need your Help, I just need to know where the MAP Sensor is
located on my 93 Imperial, Can you help me?
Any pictures you may have that I can pass on to my wife will be helpful, I
would rather not have to buy the part until I know that its actually faulty.
Thanks so much,
Mike Romanish
