It would be pretty easy to put a 426 hemi in a '62 or later
Imperial using the version of the MP hemi block with the
B/RB style mount ears! One would use the RB mounts, the oil
pan, transmission, water pump housing where necessary (pre
70), etc. Modify a hemi oil pickup. For a '61 or earlier,
there would be a problem with the crank offset in back
mating with the trans, right? But that could be solved. I
have no experience with a 392 so don't know about the mounts
and all that.
