This car keeps showing up from this dealer - about once a year they run it -
it never gets close to the reserve, which as I recall was way up there. I
think they're hoping for a miracle. There are a few other cars in their
"collection" which seem to follow the same pattern - they run on various
sites alternately, once in a while coming back to eBay. I have a feeling
these folks are a consignment house, probably just parroting what the owner
of the car tells them to say in the ad. This is opinion on my part, based
on previous cars they have run, mostly Packards.
It's nice and shiny, but I urge anyone who is really interested in the car
to go see it before bidding. I haven't seen it myself, and I don't know
much about 55s, but even I can see some goofy things about it in the
pictures. Check out that front seat upholstery, for instance.
