Let me ask a few more questions:
You mention the car is hard to start. Does it crank
easily, and take a while to catch, or does it seem to
have trouble cranking (even with a fresh battery)?
You mention rough/uneven idle. How is the car
off-idle? Does it bog on acceleration? Drive OK at
speed?
