Re:62 headlights

I have a question from a friend. When wiring the headlights on a 62-62 
Imperial which side does the power feed go to? Do you then use a jumper wire 
to the other side, or are there feed lines to bothe sides?
Joe 64 Coupe & 65 Convert.
