Help with Brakes 67-- 300

If someone has spares, I'll take them. I love my Budd brakes.

The calipers and pads are readily avaliable, the rotors are the hard part.
For standard Chryslers the boltpattern was 5 on 4.5" I think and the
Imperials has 5 on 5" pattern. The 5 on 5 is what allows the Supra
conversion to work. I'd love to get ahold of a similar rotor to replace the
Chryslers discs with aftermarket. It would be a valuable resource for all
the other Mopar lists.

I was lucky with my Budd brakes, I am the second owner of my '67 and have
had nothing freeze up or break on my system. I even looked behind the wheels
and found that my pads were new, as were the drums and shoes in the back
brakes.

At any rate, the expensive parts for the Budd systems are the rotors and the
balljoints.

Yes, all Imperials from 67 on had front disc brakes. But you don't want
them - parts are getting very expensive and hard to find. Read up on
Mechimike's saga of coming up with Toyota replacements in the IML
archives.
